We always recommend validating your Dime Industries’ products on our website to ensure authenticity. If it does not validate, there is a great possibility your product is fraudulent. Stay safe, by only purchasing your cannabis products from a licensed retailer. When you validate your product, you will activate our “no hassle” limited warranty.

First, make sure you validate the product to make sure you have not fallen victim to a scam by visiting our official Product Validation page. Please note all our official products’ packaging will have COAs on the side to reflect testing. You can also view testing results on our website under the Product Test Results section.

To coordinate a product exchange, please reach out to our Support Team at support@dime.industries with the following information:

  • Contact information including: name, phone, mailing address
  • Name of licensed retailer & location purchase was made at
  • Strain name and type of product (600mg all-in-one, 1000mg tank, etc.)
  • Photo of packaging, product and scratched off validation sticker

DEVICE FAQ

It is best to store your device at room temperature and avoid exposing the device in excess heat or in excess of 95 degrees. You should always store your device in the upright position. NOTE: the Dime Battery’s packaging doubles as a carrying case that’s a great place to store your device after every use.

Excess oil, or any lint and dust that may collect from traveling with your device can be easily cleaned with rubbing alcohol and a cotton wipe (or Q-tip). To keep your device clean, we recommend using Dime Battery’s packaging as a carrying case for safety and cleanliness.

Your device is likely to overheat if it’s left in a car, excess heat or stored upside down. Other reasons could be an altitude change, or left in a 95+ temp environment for too long, or leaving the battery power on.

BATTERY FAQ

First, please make sure your battery is fully charged. When connect to the USB charger, the Red light indicates low power, while the Green light means the device is fully charged.
 
To turn the battery on or off, simply click the button 5 times consecutively and rapidly.
 
To adjust the heat setting, click the button 3 (three) times rapidly. The heat settings are as follows:
Green light: High Heat (4.2 volts) – Ideal for a reduced terpene taste and a stronger high.
Blue light: Medium Heat (3.7 volts) – Ideal for a balanced taste and high.
Red light: Low Heat (3.2 volts) – Ideal for a more pronounced terpene taste and a milder high.
 
If your device is in a cold environment or if it’s clogged, you can activate the pre-heat function by clicking the button 2 (two) times rapidly. The battery will display a rainbow color for 10 seconds during this pre-heat cycle.
 
Lastly, when your battery starts flashing white light, it indicates that it needs to be charged.
 

Depending on what generation your Dime Battery is, the lights on your battery may indicate battery percentage or temperature. Please browse our keys below! 

 

1st, 2nd, 3rd GENERATION

Green light: 70-100% Battery Level
Blue light: 30-70% Battery Level
Red light: 30% or less Battery Level

 

4th GENERATION

Green light: 4.2volts, ideal for a higher temperature.
Blue light: 3.7volts, ideal for a moderate temperature.
Red light: 3.2volts, ideal for low temperature.
Rainbow: Pre-heat setting to warm tank (2 clicks).

 

When your battery starts to flash red at the end of a hit (regardless of generation), it’s time for a charge!

First, remove the tank from the battery. Next, on the underside of the tank, pull out the oval shaped positive pin a couple millimeters to exceed surrounding metal. Finally, reattach the tank to the battery and retry, the blinking should stop.

We highly recommend using our battery as our hardware was created to work in perfect unison with one another. If you choose to use a different 510 thread battery, there are a couple of reasons why it may not work:

 

1.) If your battery is an “air drawn” activated battery, one that does not have a button, it will NOT work. Our tank has the air holes exposed and will not activate an air drawn battery.
2.) Some batteries push up our positive pin, if so, please pull out the pin on your 1000mg tank to allow for proper contact to your battery.  Do not tighten the cartridge too hard onto the battery.  
3.) Our tank is larger, and sometimes DO NOT fit other 510 batteries and therefore not creating a connection.  You will get a blinking light on your battery if this is the case.
4.) Some other batteries are too weak to power our larger device, and will not work correctly.  You may get a little bit of smoke but not the full Dime Industries’ experience.  All batteries used with the Dime Tank should be at least 3.7v. 

 

We want you to get the full power and experience of a Dime pen. We suggest using our battery but most 510 batteries will work.

ALL-IN-ONE FAQ

Since it’s an all-in-one, ready to use device, there have been situations historically with these devices that users may lose the charge prior to finishing the material. For that reason, in the unlikely event this happens, we’ve added a charging port on our all-in-one devices. Once you are done, you can dispose of your device the same way you do any battery and you’re ready for another one. Different generations have different charge ports due to capacity and strength of the battery.

Note: Only our 1000mg tanks have the option to be attached and removed from a 510 thread battery

TANK FAQ

Leaking occurs due to: being preheated without being hit, being exposed to altitude changes, high temperatures, or if the battery is discharging without being hit. The cartridge will still be operational. Using an alcohol wipe, wipe the outside holes (where the oil is) to clean up the excess oil and sticky residue. 

If the cartridge has a severe leak, or you feel it has leaked due to other reasons, we will gladly handle an exchange for you, facilitated through the licensed retailer you purchased it from.

If an exchange Is required, please provide the dispensary’s information and a copy of the receipt in an email to support@dimeindustries.com and we will coordinate the exchange.

Please note, leaks are preventable. Store your cartridge in a dark, cool place, such as the carrying case provided with all Dime battery’s. Please remember to always charge your battery and keep it green to help prevent any future leaks.  You should always store your device in an upright position if possible.

This is not common and may occur due to improper storage or use. If clogged, preheat the device by clicking on the button twice. A rainbow light will appear. Give it a few seconds before drawing a little harder and longer, it should unclog and no longer be an issue going forward. Be sure to draw your device after hitting the button first. It is also important to be sure you have a fully charged battery, as a low battery can cause clogging.

Dime Industries uses lab grade stainless steel and quality glass, therefore if this product is dropped the product can break. For your safety, please discard the device if it is broken or damaged. The best way to not break your device is to put it in the Dime Battery carrying case after every use.

Although we highly recommend our battery, if using another 510 thread battery there are a couple of reasons why it may not work:

Obviously we want you to enjoy our tank, to get the full power of Dime. We do suggest our battery but most 510 batteries will make it “work”.
